Hi, I’m Lauren!

I’ve loved photography since I was in high school in Virginia photographing architecture for fun and homework and developing the prints in the darkroom. I moved my focus to people in college while I studied Photojournalism. While I lived in New York I invited people from the subway to the photo studio I worked at to do sessions with me. After New York I packed up and moved to Maine and a few months later started my photography business again working with people and doing headshots and weddings. 

After working at a stock photo company focusing on food I fell in love and dove right in. I already loved to cook and learned to style through my own practice and Maine Media Workshops. Since then I’ve been published in Food + Wine, Travel + Leisure, Maine Magazine, and more. I’ve also worked on video for Maine Spirits, Subway, Twisted Tea, and Revolution. 

I’ve focused mainly on food and drink for several years and am coming full circle as I dive back into more photojournalistic work and interiors as well.
