Hi, I’m Lauren!

My love for photography started in high school in Virginia, where I photographed architecture for fun (and for homework) and developed prints in the darkroom. In college, I shifted my focus to people while studying photojournalism. During my time in New York, I worked at a photo studio and often invited strangers from the subway in for portrait sessions—just for the joy of creating.

After moving to Maine, I relaunched my photography business, focusing on headshots and weddings. A job at a stock photo company introduced me to food photography—and I instantly fell in love. As someone who already loved to cook, I dove into food styling through self-study and classes at Maine Media Workshops.

Since then, I’ve worked with clients like Food & Wine, Travel + Leisure, Maine Magazine, Portland City Lifestyle, and Edible Maine. I’ve also contributed to video projects for brands including Maine Spirits, Subway, Twisted Tea, and Revolution Cooking.

These days, I focus mainly on food and drink, but I’m coming full circle—reconnecting with interiors and photojournalistic storytelling as well.

If you like what you see, I’d love to collaborate on something you’ll be truly proud of!
